If you’ve ever wanted to stop and sketch a flower, a scene, or treasures collected on a hike, this one day session in the Buttes will get you started. Explore the fundamentals of field sketching and delve into color techniques with biologist/illustrator Valerie Layne. Beginners will receive instruction; more experienced sketchers will hone their skills. No previous drawing experience necessary! Materials list sent upon receipt of registration. No children under 16, please. Cost is $40; limited beginning sketch kits are available for $15.
